The National Advisory Committee on Residential Schools Missing Children and Unmarked Burials is organizing webinars to share information about ways to take care of health and wellness needs at all stages of organizing and conducting a search for unmarked burials.
These webinars are being promoted in particular to First Nations, Inuit and Métis leaders and technicians who may be in the process of developing a search plan.
The focus is on trauma-informed, and distinctions-based approaches, with a particular emphasis on the importance of land-based healing.
*The program is not offered by Centre for Resilience, Learning & Growth – it is led by a community partner. However, we wanted to share information about the program as it may benefit the communities we work.
